» Guest Fees
All guests (including non-licensed office personnel) attending any NEBC function must be registered for the conference. The registration fee is $200 and includes all conference meals and evening activities. This fee does not include hotel accommodations. Name badges will be issued to all registered guests and must be worn for admittance to all functions.

» Cancellation
All cancellations must be received in writing. Those received prior to September 22 will be subject to a $100 administrative fee. After September 22 no refunds will be given. Please e-mail all cancellations/refund requests to Deena Smith at dsmith@fscorp.com.

» Suggested Attire
In general, business casual attire is recommended for all NEBC-related events. You can expect temperatures to be in the mid-60s to low 70s during the day and mid-50s in the evening. Keep in mind that the temperature in meeting rooms might be cool.

Q. What is the cost of rooms at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis?
A. The per night room rate at the Marriott Marquis is $170.00, plus 15% tax.

Q. What Airport in Atlanta should I fly into?
A. The airport in Atlanta is Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport. The Atlanta Marriott is located 12 miles north of Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport. Please see the transportation tab for more information on ground transportation.

Q. Can we arrange extra days at the hotel?
A. The special negotiated rate can be extended, based on availability, three days prior and three days after the group program dates. The per night room rate at the Marriott Marquis is $170.00, plus 15% tax (singe/double).

Q. How many Sponsors are invited to register per company?
A. Each Sponsor Company is invited to register four attendees. Speakers who participate in sessions only will not be counted as part of the four allotted attendees. There is a registration fee of $425.00 for each additional Exhibitor who registers.

Q. Is there a way to register for ground transportation to and from the hotel?
A. All conference attendees are responsible for their own ground transportation. Please see the travel/transportation section of this site for details on how to set up ground transportation.

Q. What is the temperature like in October in Atlanta, GA? 
A. the expected temperatures will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s during the day and in the low 50’s during the evening. 

Q. What is the recommended attire for the 2008 NEBC?
A. In general, business casual is recommended for all NEBC sessions and events. Jackets may be required for gentlemen at some restaurants. Guests should bring business casual clothing, plus a light sweater or jacket as it may get cool in the meeting rooms

Q. How do I ship materials to the Marriott Marquis?
A. You will receive an electronic Freeman Exhibitor Kit of information with details from The Meetings Department.
DO NOT ship directly to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  Exhibit shipments will not be accepted by hotel receiving.

Q. When is sponsor booth time?    
A. Booth set-up is at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14.
    Booth teardown is after lunch on Thursday, October 16.

(Exhibit Expo will be located in Salons 1-10 on the International level at the Marriott Marquis)

Q. Can I arrange for hotel room deliveries? 
A. The cost for deliveries to be placed inside the guest room is $3.00, slid under the door or placed outside the room for $2.00.  The hotel is required to clear all room deliveries with FSC Securities Corporation.

Q. What night is open for Sponsor Dinners? 
A. The free night for the Financial Advisors is Wednesday, October 15. There will be a cocktail reception from 5:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. in the Exhibit Expo. If you plan to take Financial Advisors to dinner please have them meet you at your booth during the cocktail reception and escort them to dinner. (Do Not use the Main Lobby as a meeting place for dinner)
